More Zambians to Blacksburg?

“‘I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door,
which no one is able to shut. I know that you have little power,
and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name."
Revelation 3:8

For some reason I think I should be trying to convince myself that all of these things are not really happening, but I`m not. It is beyond words the hand of the Lord that MORE Zambians are coming to Blacksburg. I mean, it`s Blacksburg. Of all the places for missionaries or medical professionals to be coming, why here? I don`t know the answers, but I am in awe that all these connections continue to happen and that the Lord hasn`t ceased to open doors between myself and Zambia.
A man from my church who is a professor of public health at Tech is bringing in 14 students, 7 from Zambia, and 7 from Malawi, to study under him for 3 weeks in April/May. I am so excited! I have no idea what to expect but I hope to be able to spend a good amount of time with them and do some fun things with them around Blacksburg. They are working with Global Health Professionals combined with World Vision. They are all students from different academic areas, and will all be learning how to use their gifts accordingly. I am excited to meet them and serve them and see how God continues to open more/new doors into the future and his bigger plan for all of these things.
Ultimately I am praying and seeking that I would be able to witness to these students, and love them in a way that radiates Jesus to them. I hope that I can learn about each of them and their passions and desires and help them to see where God might be planning to take them after their studies.
I am ready to run through the door the Lord will open next....
