New News about our team!

A few days ago I received my first e-mail from our team leader! Knowing my team and praying for them by name makes the trip seem to be coming faster every day! I am so excited to serve alongside each of these people and to know them better. Our team leader is Amy Fann. She is a 6th grade science teacher in Southlake, Texas and attends the Village Church. Last year was her first trip with CURE to Zambia and because of how much it affected her walk with Christ she has decided to go back this summer, as a leader! You can go to her website here to see pictures from last year`s Urban team Zambia. As for the rest of the team, we are a random mix of different lives from all over the U.S.

· Stephanie Nelson works in pharmaceuticals and is from Lebanon NH
· Stephanie Theis is a Sophomore communications student from Biola University
· Kellen Patrick is a Junior elementary ed student from Biola University
· Dominique Perryman is a freshmen elementary ed student from Biola University
· Alexandria Williamson is a freshmen psychology student from Biola University
· Larissa Niessen is a junior communication disorders student from Biola University
· Aaron Bailey is a sophomore pre med student at Marshall University
· Jonathan Adkins is a senior nursing/pre med student at Marshall University

And then there is me :) I am so excited to serve alongside these believers and to serve the hearts and needs of the people of Zambia. Please begin praying for my team members by name along with me. We need your prayers. Our efforts are empty without the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling within each one of us.

Fundraising Update

As of today I am at a total of $1865, with still $2035 left to go towards
my goal!! As soon as Relay for Life at Tech has finished I will
schedule a Moe`s Night here in Blacksburg. I am still handing
out M&Ms to anyone who is willing.
Once I am back in STL I will be planning some car-washes
and hopefully a couple more coupon days at It`s A Grind. Thank you
for your patience and faithfulness in serving alongside me. I am
learning right now more than ever that God does provide. And I am
learning that I have to be still, know that He is God, and trust him.
Psalm 37:7. Especially with this trip, and His provision for it and
during it.
