“…Jesus welcomed them and spoke to them of the kingdom of God and cured those who had need of healing.”
Luke 9:11
As I am road tripping across the US currently, I am constantly reminded of Zambia, and so the power of God. Seeing Niagara Falls was incredible and took me back to moments spent in Zimbabwe gazing in awe at Victoria Falls. I realize more and more how much I don’t comprehend the greatness, the vastness of our God.
“The splendor of your majesty from depth within my spirit sings Holy, Holy “
“Only one word comes to mind, only one word can describe, Holy, Holy”
Holy, Holy. He is makes me want to sing, Holy, Holy. As I see his creation and long for his presence I only want to sing holy to his name.
I long for His presence now, these days more and more, and so I long for Zambia. I long to be back in that place, serving those people, bending my knee to the God who saved me, who changed my life, and offers it to all mankind. I long that others on the team as well will be literally forced to their knees by the power of the God that we serve and that more than anything, hundreds of Zambians will see His holiness, will feel His holiness, and will yearn for more.
The other day Leah sent me this verse, and my heart lit up in passion and prayer for Cure Zambia: “…Jesus welcomed them and spoke to them of the kingdom of God and cured those who had need of healing.”
Pray that this verse will be the motto of our time there, the passion and the motives for everything we say and do there. We will be Jesus and welcome and speak to others about the kingdom of God and that God will come and heal those who need healing, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Jesus we love you, we thank you, we give you praise. You are holy. You are worthy of all praise, all the time, endlessly.
